Welcome to Hilary Irish Makeup Artistry!
Hilary Irish Makeup Artistry was brought to life through the love and passion of Makeup and Hair Artistry. From a young age I have always had a deep love and passion for art, and eventually found my true love and passion in Makeup and Hair Artistry.
I have earned a College Diploma in The Complete Makeup Artist Program from North America’s leading school for Professional Makeup Art & Design (CMU College of Makeup Art & Design). Hilary's Makeup & Hair Artistry can be seen on TV networks including CTV, Gusto, CBC, and in various bridal and fashion publications.
As a Professional Makeup & Hair Artist, I've come to realize that a unique special relationship is shared with clients, models and actors. Makeup Artists typically work up close on peoples' faces and bodies, a situation that may be tenuous for some. I strive to ensure everyone is as comfortable as possible and to create a trusting relationship between both artist and client in a very short period of time. One of my mentors shared, "Being a Makeup Artist sometimes requires you to be a bit of a therapist, investigator, and someone's best friend at times". While actively working in this industry I recognize the truth in this statement.
